The objective of this work was to carry out a descriptive population survey on the knowledge of non-alcoholic cocktails and interest in their consumption. It was carried out with a stratified random sampling with 120 people, whose ages ranged from 18 to 73 years and 53% were female. The research showed that 77% of the participants had consumed non-alcoholic cocktails on some occasion and that 87% showed interest in their consumption, without a significant difference for this acceptance in terms of sex or age. The most popular cocktails would be those based on tropical and citrus fruits. The consumption of these drinks would be preferably in family gatherings and as for the place, the preference was in hotels, followed by beaches and restaurants, while less consumption is preferred in nightclubs, regardless of age and sex. In the acquisition of these drinks, quality and not price prevail, regardless of gender and age. For all the above, the production of non-alcoholic cocktails is an interesting market niche that would generate a source of health and economic income.
