Abstract

Every 30 days were made periodic samplings of banana fruit flour with the objective to evaluate the frequency of appearance in this byproduct stored in environmental conditions. Four species of insects were detected. By its high frequency of appearance, dispersion and damage that caused it was considered Lasioderma serricorne (F.) as the main pest of the stored banana fruit flour.
