Abstract

The purpose of this work is to evalue the quality of diets offered to pregnant women at obstetric risks. The studied obstetric risk (diabetes mellitus) was characterized by using nutritional indicators and clinic test to 30 pregnant women in order to failfure the main objective. When the risk group was confirmed, the consumed diets were collected and evaluated during the hospitable ingress period. The evaluation method was carried out by weighting the offered food quantities and determining their energetic and nutritional contribution, as well as, their adequation percentages. It was used the CERES software. With the use of quality dietetic indexes it was proved that these diets were not recommendable because did not failfure the following criteries: variated, completed, enough, equilibrate.
