Abstract

92 livers were sampled from male cattle, animals slaughtered in 6912. The procedure of the sample was carried out under the method RIDASCREEN ® Fast Clenbuterol. Of the 92 samples tested, 58 (63%) livers sampled showed high concentrations (400, 500,600 and 637 ppb), 34 (37%) samples showed concentrations of less than 0, 1.5 and 50 ppb. The frequency that was presented was 8.39. Governmental entities as the Secretary of Health and SAGARPA regarded as positive those who submit merger since 3000 ppb, however the FAO suggests a ceiling of the toxic muscle at 600 ppb because of the possibility that there may be as high in the Abuse of this drug. These results are a reflection of the lack of supervision that exists in the track and put in evidence that was not respected as stipulated by the regulations.
